Born in 1974 at Misericordia hospital in the Bronx NY (hence the album name), Mike has been playing guitar since the age of 11. A longtime purveyor of guitaring in the blues and rock varieties, Mike has a love for all types of music. He is a member of the critically acclaimed Albany alt-folk band Swamp Baby, as well as the long-lamented alt-country band knotworking.
Recorded on an analog Tascam 4 track by night, in between a 40 hour work week and raising a 4 month old daughter with his wife Megan. Our personal faves? The shimmering, reverb-drenched “Ring These Bells” and the Chris Whitley-like neo-blues of “Sunshine Army.” ' - from review by Greg Haymes on http://www.nippertown.com
